Indeed, in the future booklet on John 6:66, it will speak of how we can evangelize our countries far better, including overtaking ‘Halloween’ with ‘All Hallowseen’ (for seeing saints in Heaven, we hope, besides here below in holy cards, etc.). Evening -- due to 1st Vespers of All Saints Day’ – went unto e’ening (poetry), then ‘een’. Connectedly, what a wonder that our current Pope Francis canonized the most of any group of martyrs: the Otranto martyrs. Even here in the USA years ago (in Texas), God gave inspiration to put representations of saints on trees instead of pumpkin balls – in a town called Robstown (as robbers even town-decorate with witches and monsters rather than any saints). Druids overthrew the Solemnity in society with their witchcraft, and even in the John 6:66 booklet it will offer to spooksters (even Catholic Churches with ‘spookfests’) to show the courage of martyrs who were guillotined or other. So, if people still want to decorate their yards or windows or more with freaky or spooky creativity, they can keep such with images of martyrs who often went through such. Holy exorcists can be displayed: if some Halloween decorators even prefer showing horns. More yet, “Blessed or Saint” or other (“Venerable”) vs. “trick or treat” would serve at each doorway. How? Instead of just dropping a piece of candy, a blessed holy card can be given with it, provided a promise of respecting the card is had. Indeed, this monthly message was being drafted on the very Memorial of ‘the Pope of Saints:’ John Paul II (Oct. 22, in the USA) who canonized more than any predecessor, and by far. Yet our American Pope Francis even had the largest batch ever of martyrs for one canonization alone: the roughly 800 Otranto Italian martyrs last May on the 7th Sunday of Easter – how historical!
Our Mystical Rose goes well with the famous medieval poet Alighieri Dante: held as the greatest poet (beyond Biblical ones) by many Catholics. He conceived of Heaven as a huge (mystical) Rose made up of angels and saints as the petals with the Light of the Glory of Christ…. Mary as the ‘Mother of the Mystical Body’ is doing many favors now through Panama. We had the International Congress of the Mystical Rose this October. One of the fruits of it is that we may now launch a Society of Mystical Rose priests. It was great seeing Sisters of Guinea, Africa, with white habits and the 3 roses of white, red, and yellow-gold across the habit. Another fruit is that the different groups in her honor in different countries may become more unified into one International Mystical Rose Society of Missionaries, and with whatever name… probably from Panama City where so much is allowed by its Archbishop Ulloa. The Chancellor of Brescia Diocese made it from Italy and saw many fruits at the Congress, including the presentation by our apostolic Brother Sobichen Mathew on our Mystical Rose who manifests not only much mystical phenomena in India but CONVERSIONS of various classes of believers.
Too, many saints can come in great threesomes, like to her roses. Indeed there are 3 Marian invocations for a kind of ‘threesome spirituality’: Maria Mater Dei, Mater Ecclesiae, Mater Nostra (all mankind). Why such spirituality? Because God Himself is a Triune One. In the Apostles' Creed we see the "Communion of Saints," and how great to have shared in Panama City of 3 holy Chinese Roses: the martyrs Rosa Tchiao, Rosa Chen, and Rosa Hui… like Rose “hello” to Italy (“Ciao”) to open doors for official approval, Rose of strength (CHEN), and Rose of JOY (wwhhhhhooooEEEYYY), especially with the Brescian Bishop more likely to finally approve of Pierina Gilli’s Mystical Rose apparitions.
God has brought me to jot down the various Saints of the Day in a nicely styled 'Little Flower' notebook that is sold (with her quotes) to go with the categories of a long Litany of Saints in the ‘Emmanuel Chaplet’ that He inspired me to compose (with extra inclusions at the ellipsis, etc.). I also use colored markers to highlight the categories -- red for martyrs, green for founders, yellow for specially H.S.-gifted ones, orange/peach for pastors, etc., etc. While efforts are had daily to advance the booklet, time to learn more of our family members (saints) in Heaven is wondrous for the advance not only of one work but of the many that God places daily in our paths... including intercession for us all. A family member also shares with me often on the saints of the day. Fidelity to the Apostles’ Creed includes the “Communion of Saints.” In this Year of the Faith coming to a close this Nov. (even on the date of a St. Maria and a St. Flor – two sister girl martyrs of Spain) we see that Mary, Mystical Rose wants us to advance with the Mystical Body by oneness, too, with the Church Triumphant. Blessed John Paul II wants us all to be winners in holiness, and far more than in skiing or other sports, etc. Here’s one good site for daily updating on saints http://saints.sqpn.com/
St. Paul wrote -- "We always give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, in our prayers for you because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love you bear toward all the saints--moved as you are by the hope held In store for you in heaven."
A Medjugorje-gifted mystic from my hometown wrote on 7-11-13: “Oh My dear souls, learn, study and enjoy the company of The Saints who have gone before. Rely on the intercession of the Saints in glory. Thank them and be grateful for every little favor granted to you by the Father through Me, Your Lord, Jesus! Every favor granted by Me comes from My Father and with the Holy Spirit….” The Council of Trent teaches that thesaints with Christ offer up their own prayers to God for men. So it surely is good to invoke them, and as Pope Benedict XVI once said, they surely are not unaware of us calling upon them. St. Thomas Aquinas explained that prayer (so prioritized by our Mystical Rose) is offered primarily to God yet also to holy angels and to saints since God respects such. Apocalypse (8:4) “the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel.” St. Jerome put: “If the Apostles and Martyrs while still in the body can pray for others, at a time when they must still be anxious for themselves, how much more after their crowns, victories, and triumphs are won!”
Have a Blessed & Holy November month of the Holiness of Christ!
